Hi Bob, A very interesting ADXR show again with some useful news and tips as always. Thanks for sharing! There was an intermittent hum or buzz in the audio this time around, perhaps your microphone is getting a loose connection or wire?
Best regards! Michael Stevenson, Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia

Howdy Bob, Thanks for another terrific and informative DX program, I don't like the news about the closing shortwave services and stations though, this is very bad and not a god sign for the future of shortwave broadcasting, something we cannot do much about though! Best regards! Michael Stevenson, Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia

Hello Bob, thank you for another excellent DX News & Schedule program, it is sad though to hear of the complete closure of two more stations on shortwave in Prague and Belgium, this is indeed upsetting especially for Radio Prague! Keep up the great work and best regards from Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia! Michael Stevenson

Howdy Bob, Good news about the possible showing of the new sunspot cycle, I thought I could notice a slight improvement in general reception conditions during the last week or so.
Anyway, another terrific and informative DX show here and thanks for sharing the information!

Thanks,as usual Bob. Enjoyed it greatly. With the solar events of the past couple of days, 31 spots yesterday and 32 today coupled with solar flux readings in the 70s, I'm a bit more upbeat than you. I think we are in the early stages of Cycle 24. Of course there are arguments both ways.

Cheers,

Howdy Bob, the closing music reminded me of the black & white TV days when ABC television used to open transmission following a test pattern showing the Australian flag! I also enjoyed the marching music interlude too. I am concerned about the lack of sunspots and for the next sunspot cycle to kick off, seems as though the shortwave reception of 6 years ago will be a long way off yet even though you are hearing good things in Melbourne, here in Port Macquarie NSW Australia it is a different story with very variable reception conditions especially during our evenings from 0700 to past 1200, reception on most bands is appalling with weak noisy signals if they are there at all! Thanks for another terrific DX Show 167 and best regards! Michael Stevenson

Howdy Bob, this is a really excellent DX program with plenty of DX news, schedule updates and tips, so much so that you did not appear to have time to include a closing song!! Never mind, the DX news is more important than a song, thanks for sharing and best regards! Michael Stevenson, Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia

Hello Bob, ADXR 165 has been up to your usual standard which is always high quality. Yes, the lack of sunspots is a worry, I guess it will happen eventually, I have noticed a slight improvement in some reception conditions but maybe this is due to the current shift of the sun from northern to southern hemisphere. Love the song at the end and thanks for sharing! Best regards! Michael Stevenson

Hello Bob, thank you for another terrific ADXR program, the music is great and the station schedule changes are most useful provided I can hear them! It is amazing how much more you can hear in Melbourne compared to Port Macquarie. Thanks again and please keep up the great work and best regards!
